It's those itty bitty steps along the journey that lead you to the big results. SJR introduces her good friend Brita, who has just lost nearly 40 pounds, to the kitchen to talk about her journey to healthy living. All while doing the unthinkable-making fried chicken from mushrooms!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
-Oyster Mushrooms
-Just Egg
-Grapeseed Oil
-Garbanzo Bean Flour
-Lawry's seasoning salt
-Garlic Powder
-Black pepper
Instructions:
-Heat Grapeseed Oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
-In one bowl make a WET batter with (1 cup water, 1/4 cup JUST EGG, 1/2 cup garbanzo bean flour, and seasonings).
-Whisk together.
-Put the mushrooms in the wet batter and stir around until mushrooms are coated.
-In another bowl have dry flour ready with the same seasonings. Take the wet mushrooms from batter and put in dry flour. Shake until coated.
